Help! cat limping and no obvious signs!

My cat starting limping a few hours ago after being outside and now she is not putting any weight on her back left paw. I felt her leg to check for any sensativity, including the tops of her paw. All was good until I touched the pad of her pinky. She instantly hissed at me. My cat is sweet normally, but she knows how to bite and is not afraid to do so, so I backed off. I got a good look at the under side of her paw and saw no blood and no stickers, but I haven't been able to look properly. Any ideas? I'm terrified that she may have brokwn her toe or that she was bit by a spider, but I can't check. Any suggestions for how to calm her or what else could be going on? My cat, Bella Tuna Todd, and I will really appreciate your help.
