How many of us currently have cats that are expecting?

It's not really kitten season just yet, at least in the U.S., but it seems like there are a few folks here that have cats on the verge of giving birth, myself included. Mine is a foster cat, turned in to the rescue organization I foster for just last week, so there's no accurate way of knowing when she's due. But I've been seeing and feeling the kittens moving for a week now, and she has been producing milk, so I expect it should happen this week.

Who else is currently expecting? And where are you located?

I guess I win the prize! Rosie started spotting this morning around 8:30am and her water broke around 9:00. It took until after 12:00pm befor the first kitten to arrive. She's had four as of now. I thought there would be more because of her size, but I suppose she might not be done yet. She is completely exhausted though!

Two black and white, two gray and white.

My Sox is expecting I think any time now. I'm not sure exactly when she got pregnant as she was a stray cat in my neighborhood when I moved here in September. I first started feeding her outside then brought her in one night it was very cold and she has been inside at night since. At first she didn't use a litter box as she would go to the door and meow when she needed to go to the bathroom. I just got her a litter box and had to teach her to use it but she learned fast. I don't want to let her outside until she has the kittens. I am unsure what signs to look for or what to do for her. I'm nervous anxious and excited all at the same time. I can't wait to meet her kittens.

Oh they are so beyond precious. It's so hard to decide which one I want the most. First it was the little girl in the middle. Then the little boy on the left. Then the little boy in the middle. OK. Forget it, they are all super adorable. If forced to choose though, the little boy in the middle would probably win.

That's the one thing I'm afraid of when Sox has her kittens, I'm afraid they will all be so adorable that I will want to keep them all.

Kitty Kitty enters her 65th day of pregnancy tomorrow. She looks like she swallowed a basketball! She was a stray who had been hanging around for a couple of months. I tpok her inside a couple of weeks ago, and she's as happy as can be. I had no clue how far along she was, so took her to vet for a checkup & x-ray. Vet predicted 4 to 5 kittens within 7 to 10 days. That was 8 days ago. I plan to have her spayed when the kittens are about 6 weeks old & keep her, since my other cat is about 17 years old. I'm in Florida. So far Kitty Kiity's nipples are very enlarged, she licks alot, and pokes around her nesting areas, but no signs of labor. Wondering if I should call the vet again soon if she doesn't go into labor. She's barely a year old, vet said, so this is her first litter. I'll keep you guys posted as to kittens!

Wow, Kitty Kitty certainly looks like she's got a lot of kittens in that belly of hers!  She looks comfy on that bed though so thank you for taking her in and keeping her and her kittens safe through this period.  She is a very lucky cat to have found you and your home.  I hope you are able to keep or find homes for her little ones too @sarthur2.   Be sure and start a a thread for Kitty Kitty and her kittens when she has them, or if you have any questions to ask.  It does sound like they will arrive soon.   Welcome to TCS too.
