My beloved 13 year old feline friend Ramone passed away at.........

Dear Cat Site Friends,

  My beloved 13 year old feline friend Ramone passed away last evening while I was holding him in my arms. He had been seriously ill for the past month due to complications arising from intestinal surgery that he underwent on January 7, 2015. My heart is breaking but it is also joyful because Ramone's soul is set free. Godspeed dear one.

My condolences. It hurts losing a cherished family member and soul mate.

My heart goes out to you, I pray that you find comfort in knowing that Ramone is at peace now and will reside forever in your heart. I know the pain was tremendous to hold him in your arms, but I'm sure it was very comforting and much appreciated for Ramone to be held by the person he loved. It sounds like he fought a courageous battle. There is nothing that could be said right now while the pain is so new, to lessen your pain, but know that time will soften the blow and one day you will be smiling at your memories instead of crying as that sweet boy would want. Take care of yourself........ RIP beautiful Ramone!

I am so sorry you lost your baby.  Mine crossed over on 1-19-15. He was just 13 as well.  It was 4 weeks ago today.  I find that I am only sobbing once or twice a day, down from 4 in the beginning.  Really feel your pain!  Imagine him on the other side running on the grass in the sunlight.  No pain, no problems, just free to enjoy being. I believe he will stay with you while you are grieving although you can't see or touch him.  It is so hard but this is something we have to go threw.  The greater the love, the greater the pain.  As someone who has just gone thru this for the first time I can tell you it gets a little better everyday.  Tell us all about your kitty.  Share the joy he brought you!
