My cat who was spayed about 3 months ago started to lick her genitals like crazy about one day ago. She's continued the licking, and today I've noticed some pretty bad inflammation with yellowish discharge. Her urine clumps have appeared normal. She peed in a laundry basket today (further alarming me), but I was able to see that there was no blood in the urine. Her behavior appears normal as well. She's eating (wet food diet), drinking, and playing with her feline companions. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow, weather permitting. What can I do in the meantime? What could this be?
