Adorable cat! She looks very pregnant, I'd say she's as far along as my queen. Do you have any idea as to when she may have conceived? Since you're referring to a specific time she got out. So if you can give me a timeframe, I will calculate it for you. I'd definitely say she's around 8 weeks, so that would leave her with just one more week to go!

Yes, max 2 weeks left, as you clearly see the kittens move, probably less.

Yes! Just as I suspected. Given that timeframe, your queen is due Saturday, February 21st 2015 (or roughly around that time). The average feline pregnancy gestation is 65 days. 63 being a minimum and 70 being a maximum. Good luck and keep me posted! My girl is due any moment now, fingers crossed that it's soon! If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask, there are tons of very educated individuals on this website, I am so glad I found it. :)

I will be sure to post pictures, please do the same! She's sleeping in her birthing box right now, this is the second time that she's walked right in and laid down without me having to coax her in. I think it will be soon, I am so eager. I have all her things ready, I feel like I'm giving birth haha! I will attach a picture of her... I think there is about 5 kitties in her belly, considering her size and the fact that this is her first litter. Do you know everything to expect during and after labour? If you have any questions regarding that, don't hesitate to ask. And you are very welcome, I love being a great help to those who are unaware of what to do. This is honestly my favourite subject! Good luck :)

Aww well it really sounds like she's being well taken-care of. It also sounds like she will be having them very soon. She will sleep more than ever in this last week, as her body is preparing her for labour and the sleepless nights with kittens ahead. She'll probably also slow down on eating too! Have you been able to extract any milk from at least one teat yet? If not, it's not to worry about, some cats get their milk supply in later on. Here is a picture of my queen, Michelle!

the picture hasn't come up :( and yeah she is I just want the best for her and no I haven't noticed any milk yet and I wondered why shes just slept all day today its not like her but shes up and down she keeps moving from spot to another I just guessed that would be something to do with kittens scratching her belly , I am ready for the sleepless nights there going to be adorable.

Yes, she will be very restless in these last few days. They're definitely the toughest. Cats and dogs are great at managing pain better than humans, that's for sure. With my own experiences, they always go into labour when it's least expected. So try not to think about it too much! I have to remind myself this constantly! Hmm, I wonder why it didn't post, I'll try again...

I know how you feel! I try to leave Michelle alone, but it's just so hard, especially with how close to birth she is. I'd be lying if I said she will not have them on your bed. I've had a cat that gave birth on my bed (total mess, at one point she was fully sitting up straight to give birth, like a human) AND a dog that insisted on giving birth on our livingroom couch. I really hate to bother moving them, because I want to refrain from causing them any more stress and discomfort than they already have. The best thing to do is lay down a huge black garbage bag, or two, with some old towels and blankets. The garbage bags will surely catch everything and it won't be a filthy mess. There's a great chance that she probably won't, because most cats seek privacy for birth, but then again, some cats seek comfort. You can try to move her to your desired birthing place, but be VERY gentle and reassure her that the world won't end if she simply gives birth in a box and NOT on your precious bed!

Everything will be okay and it will all work out! As for the number of kitties, Michelle had an X-Ray taken at 6 weeks in, and the Vet and I counted about 5 fetuses. We are still not 100% certain, but it's more than likely, considering this is her first litter. First-time mama cats usually have no more than 5 kitties, but more than 5 is not unheard of. I also try to feel for the amount of knot like lumps in her belly, and that is where a kitten is. I also watch for the movement, and I've seen 5 different areas twitch from kitty kicks (all at close times).
