cat bitten

Today I brought home a pet mouse. My kitten was a bit too curious and attempted to climb the cage. I heard a crash and ran to check.

My kitten ended up with a nasty bite on the pad of her back foot. She bled quite a lot but it stopped.

I looked at it and her pad looks torn.

Is there anything I can do for her? She is walking jumping and being her crazy normal self now. But I know cats can hide pain.

She also did not learn her lesson sigh. The mouse is now safely out of her reach.

The biggest thing is going to be to keep the wound clean. So, I suggest cleaning her foot after her trips to the litter box.

I also suggest a vet visit to make sure she doesn't need to be put on medication or have the area properly cleaned.
