droncit question

say if i was supposed to give him one today, but he spit it in a bowl of water, so it was a gooey mess but I tried to crush it and mix it in with his food but he only ate maybe 1/4 of the pill total, if that, would it be OK to give him another one NOW or should I wait for a few days? I shouldn't have shoved it down his throat right next to the water, but i *thought* i did it good enough for it not to come back out.. which i didn't..

I would call you vet- the vet knows how much the cat weighs and will be able to tell you what dose you can give safely if you can again. Next time use just a small dab of butter and slide it in- they swallow it easily.

thanks hissy i guess i'll call in the morning. I'm thinking that they are getting sick of me already though, lol. I'm thinking that he didn't swallow enough for another dose to be dangerous but it's better safe then sorry..
