What's wrong with his eye?

Yesterday I noticed my cats eye looked different, it's cloudy or something. It's not runny or anything, and when I put my hand near it he flinches so he can see out of it still. I really don't have money to take him to the vet unless it's something serious. Any ideas?

He's not even a year old yet. It doesn't seem to bother him I have noticed any squinting or him scratching or rubbing it.

If he doesn't have any symptoms anywhere else like sores near his mouth, he should be fine. It looks ok per the photo. When they get up there in age they can get cataracts and it can get cloudy. Yours it too young for that. It may just be dry creating a film. you can get some liquid tears from the drugstore and put a drop in to moisten the eye. When you are able to get him to the vet Id mention it. I don't think this is a rush your cat to the vet issue.

I'd take him to a vet to rule out something serious.
