Hello, Early this morning we brought our male cat home. He was neutered yesterday late afternoon.
he has always been hyper but he is worse than his usual self. He climbed up on our bed and kept
rolling around all over until I was afraid he would fall off. Then he grabbed up his ball in his teeth and
began to carry it all over the house. He found a small dust bunny and ate it. He started running and playing with the other cats. We confined him to the bedroom several times today for him to get some
rest. We also had his sister spayed at the same time. She is resting in the kennel downstairs with blanket
soft bed litter box water, we fed them both small portions today They acted like they were so totally
starved. I only gave soft food today. They ate two cans today between the two of them, and tonight I
removed the food to let it digest some before they get more. They have water for tonight.
I am concerned about the hyperactivity. They seem totally starved for affection. The little girl reaches her
paw out through the kennel and begs me to take her upstairs. I am afraid to do much lifting right now
because of her stitches. I let her out of the kennel and petted her then put her back in.
I hope we are doing all right for them. They are like our children and we love them so very much.
