Sophie needs help!

My sister adopted this sweet girl a year and a half ago. She always adopts. She noticed she stopped eating, and was extremely sensitive when touched around her mouth. My sister took her to the vet, hoping they would be able to pull any teeth that were bad, only to find out her whole entire mouth is infected and she has stomatitis. Her teeth have all chipped off inside her gums, like shards. She was told she had to go to a specialist. The surgery costs between 1400 to 1800, and she cannot afford the surgery. Sophie is on pain meds, antibiotics, and steroids. She has a month before she can be operated on because of the steroid. She can't eat, even soft food. Please anything helps.

Sophie is adorable, and I really hope that she gets the surgery she needs. I would love to adopt her. We already have two beautiful kitties, but there is always room for more. Unfortunately, our city has ordinances against such happiness. I wish Sophie the best of luck.
