Sorry I'm late this morning.  It's Monday. That can be my excuse every week right?

How often do you use your iron?

I rarely iron!  I will iron the kid's clothing if they are getting pictures taken or if it's a big holiday; but that's it!  We rarely dress up and even our church is pretty casual; so DH and I don't need to iron our own things very often.  I think our iron got the most use when DH was in the military.  I found even my work dress pants did not need ironing if I gave them a good shake-snap and hung them neatly to dry as soon as they were washed.  I wore more knit tops than blouses (it was a business casual office) so they didn't need ironing either.

My Grandmother was one who ironed almost everything. Even underwear and sheets.  I never understood that; but I suppose things are more "wash and wear" then when she was young.

Once a year maybe. I don't really ever dress up. Most things are ok as long as you take them out of the dryer when they are done.

Very rarely,  I did have two pairs of dressy cotton pants that I wore into the office before I started working from home that had to be ironed.  We could only wear jeans on Fridays.  I've been working from home for two years now so it's been that long since I ironed.   Those pants are buried somewhere in the closet now.  I don't wear them because they have to be ironed.

Rarely, Usually only for 'good' clothes if we are going to a funeral or wedding. Once in a while for work clothes. Averaged out I'd say at the most once a month. I do like to keep the board and iron around for things such as curtains, I can't stand wrinkled curtains!

Perhaps three or four times a year, usually when I'm packing for a trip. About the only thing I ever iron is some long-sleeved dressy 100% cotton tops.

My happy place.
Hello, my name is KittyWhiskers and I have an ironing addiction. :lol3:

Seriously though, I iron between 3 and 5 times a week.
As soon as one load of laundry is dry I iron it.

I use an iron whenever I sew; it always comes out the same time as the sewing machine.

There are also a few of my husband's dress shirts that need to be pressed to be wearable. I always hang his shirts to dry and most of his nicer shirts don't need ironing, but he has 3 high-maintenance shirts that have to be pressed, and they are among the priciest. It doesn't make sense since they should be better quality fabric with well-made flat seams, but they aren't, go figure.

The only time I ever use it is when I'm sewing and I want to make sure I get all the seams straight.

Oh, and when I've spilt wax on something. Hot iron and some brown paper gets wax out pretty well.

I bought an iron when I moved into my own place in 2003. I don't think I've ever used it :anon:. Maybe I ironed on a decorative patch once, now that I think about it.

I used to be a chronic ironer but then decided that life was too short. Now I'm with @MoochNNoodles: I take things straight from the washing machine, shake them out really well and hang them on hanger to dry.. works a treat.

I remember having to iron when I was still living at home. The sheets and pillow cases, tablecloths, Dad's work clothes, etc. An old iron and a soda bottle with holes in the top to sprinkle the clothes.

Now, it's only if we're having a holiday dinner or a nicer dinner with family or friends. I will want to use a nice tablecloth and napkins and I'll wash and iron them.

(When we first got married, Dear Richard wanted his jeans ironed. So I did what any loving wife would do; I showed him how to use the iron!
)

I iron every week. My husbands dress shirts and pants have to be ironed. I wear cotton blouses so they have to be ironed. I keep a tablecloth on my table all the time and we use cloth napkins so they have to be ironed. And the list goes on. I hang up our best clothes to dry rather than putting them in the dryer. I try to go ahead and do ironing then, but sometimes it stacks up and it is an all day job. I don't like to iron, but I haven't found a way to avoid it.

Never. I have an iron somewhere.
about 30 years ago I ironed and then I bribed my daughter into going the ironing for money.
