The two lions: Leo & Shumba (known here as the burn kittens)

Our new addition:  Leo & Shumba in our yard.


Everyone knows what 'Leo' means.  'Shumba' in the language of the local dialect here in Zimbabwe also means 'Lion'

These lovely names were given to them by my friend (vet from SPCA).

Leo is on the right and Shumba is on the left of this pic.

This pic is just one month from when they entered our family.  They are over 3 month old on this pic.

Leo & Shumba came to our place after my friend from SPCA asked me directly to adopt these babies (she nursed them back to health after they were cruelly burnt by some horrible teen human boys).

And here they are - well and healthy (thanks to my friend).

All my adult girls have accepted them gracefully.

Oh my gosh, why would people do that?  Animal cruelty is never a good sign in kids, so I would watch out for those boys if I knew them.  

I'm so glad to see them healthy and happy! Thank you for taking them in!! How did you get them to pose like that?  They look like statues.  Haha. 

They are both beautiful, their names really suit them.

They're lucky to have a home with you after their rough start in life.

Yes, these two african teens threw them in the fire, lucky a lady was passing by - she shouted at them, chased them away, went into the fire burning her feet, got the kittens and called our SPCA, who came without delay.

As for picture - I was sitting for a while in the yard with a camera while they were playing.  They both got onto this bird bath, looking at birds on a tree.

What a brave lady! She gets a special place in heaven for that.

And I'm forever grateful to that lady.

I don't even know who she is, and I wish to know her.

Please someone tell me if there is a thread where some humans want to kill other humans because of cats?

I want to kill someone, but not sure who I should kill?

I just want revenge so badly...
