You, TCS members, have contributed a total of 266 reviews during the January Reviews Fundraiser which was absolutely amazing!
I have decided to round up that number into a $300 donation.
We had a total of three suggestions for recipients brought up in the fundraiser thread. They were all worthy non-for-profit organizations working hard to promote cat welfare. We had no choice but to let a cat decide. Fortunately, @MServant's Mouse agreed to help us out and take some time from his birthday party to choose one of three rolled up notes. Mouse chose The Oswego County Humane Society which had originally been suggested by @mickNsnicks2mom who has contributed quite a few reviews too!

And I also want to share the response -Hello,
I am making this donation in the name of our community of cat lovers at TheCatSite.com. Our members have worked hard during the month of January to add new reviews of cat products to the site. We decided to donate one dollar for each review written, hence our donation of $300 rounded up from a total of 266 new product reviews!
Your organization was suggested by one of our members as the recipient of our donation.

Thank you for everything that you do for the cats (and dogs too!)

Dear Anne Moss,
As a member of the Oswego County Humane Society Board of Directors (and an animal lover), I always find the generosity of our community of supporters truly gratifying. Thank you for your donation of $300.00 on 02/04/2015. Your gift enables OCHS to sustain our mission to provide programs and services to Oswego County that reinforce and strengthen the bonds between people and animals.
I thought you might be interested in how we have made an impact in our county. In 2012, OCHS found safe and loving homes for 418 animals that were previously abandoned or neglected. We spayed and neutered 634 animals in our clinic and responded to more than 2000 requests for information, assistance or referrals. All this is made possible with committed support from individuals like you who understand that people and pets are good for each other. With your contribution and others, OCHS can continue to be the catalyst to provide vital assistance to both our human and animal neighbors.
Thank you for supporting our shared vision. Your gift does make a difference.
Very truly yours,
Donna Kuhn
President
