Dental health is important for our pets
Periodontal disease, resorptive lesions, and gingivitis are common dental issues that can be prevented with regular dental care at home and the occasional dental cleaning as needed. Some breeds of cats (and dogs) may be genetically prone to certain dental issues and need regular dental care. Bacteria from bad teeth and gums can spread to the rest of the body and may cause other health issues, such as increasing blood glucose levels in diabetic cats.
