Can cats catch things from humans?

So I have bacterial tonsilitis could my cat get it? My baby has been sitting next to me all day and i dont want him to catch it!

some things they can catch from humans, i do believe that is one of them,

as far as I know,  humans and cats dont easily give contagions to each other.    Im not saying never ever, but its astonishingly few diseases.  Dogs are somewhat less firesure here.

Here I would guess its not dangerous to her, and quite probably, he did try to cure you, or at least, make you comfortable, and in this way, helping you be better.

A sort of Animal Assisted Therapy.    :)

I wouldn't worry about it, there are very few virus's and infections that can be transmitted between cats and humans.

After you are on an antibiotic for over 24 hours you are fine, they let kids back in to school after that. If you are not, I would google that question and see what it says! Good luck!
