We just took in what I consider a rescue cat. He is a 1 year old, long haired, orange tabby that we got from a family member who did not take good care of him. We took him to the vet the day after we got him from my family member and discovered he has ear mites, we started treatment immediately. We had suspected he had ear mites from the beginning so we never introduced him to our other two cats who have been staying at my place while our new boy is staying at my significant other's place. I am wondering if the mites can travel on me and my significant other's clothing after being with our new boy and going back to my place with our two other kitties and possibly infecting them. We want to be as careful as possible so we don't infect them as well. Thanks!

As far as I've read ear mites don't transfer to humans.

Just do a google search and you'll see many articles on this.     Or just call your vet to ask.
