Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone!

Quick and easy today:

What are your plans for today? If you don't have any specific plans, what's your typical Sunday like?

No Superbowl festivities here. I was dumb enough to go grocery shopping yesterday with football fans hosting get togethers though. For me, just work, a little errand running, and then homework.
Typical Sunday is usually cleaning and/or homework...

I have to put away laundry, clean the floors and the upstairs bathroom. Then we are having our usual dinner at the in laws like we do on Sundays. We are getting a snow storm right now and hopefully it doesn't get too bad because Aimee (my 2 year old) slept over there last night so we have to get there to pick her up.

We have a coupon for a beer and rum tasting at a local brewery and distillery that is going to be expiring soon. I think we are going there and then having a late lunch. After that I will be home in front of the TV, immersing myself in all things super bowl. :)

Having a problem with my HP printer and it's almost ready to go into the pool. (Well, pool is frozen, so it can't. So let's say it's almost ready to go into the recycling pile in the basement.) "System Ink Failure" and it's making me spastic. I have tried everything over and over again for the last two hours and nothing is working. Simple reset. Unplugged it all and plugged it back in. Downloaded a driver. Cleaned the printhead (3 times). Meanwhile I just keep blowing more and more ink, trying to figure it all out. I can see that a new printer is in my future and I simply don't want to go there. I don't know what's worse, paying $50 on eBay for a new printhead and cartridges or buying a new printer at this point. I don't like this printer anyway.

Other than that, it's just laundry and such.

Rick is working on Quicken and tweaking our household budget a bit. He's getting ready to leave for Oregon in March, too (getting hotel rooms and the car rental and such). He's not particularly amused to be listening to me cussing out the printer either. He'll be leaving later on today to go to his cousin's house (thankfully only about a mile down the road) to watch the first half of the Super Bowl. While he's gone, I may take some me-time to work on my poor fingernails (which look really bad right now) and maybe a bit of a lounge in the bathtub for a while with a facial mask and a hair conditioning. Then it will be the X-Files, starting around 7:00. After the way this day is going computer-wise, I need some me-time.

Snow hasn't started yet....we are due for 6 - 8 inches starting this afternoon into Monday late afternoon.

When I get home from work, I want to begin harness-training our "problem" cat. I also have to clean the zebra finch cage, make dinner, and call my father. I would love to continue knitting the sweater I've been working on for over a year now. I have a couple of New Years' resolutions, one of which is to finish all my half-finished knitting projects. So far, so good!

We normally clean house on Sundays, but not today. We are going to watch the Super Bowl and I am making food for the game. We aren't usually big football fans, but my sister and BIL are in Arizona and going to the game, so we are cheering for them. BIL is a huge Seahawks fan; sister is not much of a sports fan, but is along for the ride. Go Hawks!

I'm making sweet and spicy chicken wings and nachos. I found a nice bakery that makes non-dairy pies so I'm going to pick up one of those, too.

We don't watch football but I am watching the Kitten Bowl now.
I am supposed to be working on taxes this weekend, but the weather is just too nice to stay indoors.  We picked up some ornamental plants this weekend--we got some planted yesterday and will finish up the planting today.  We've invited our neighbor to  drop by later this afternoon to sit out in the sun and have a beer with us.

I hope to grocery shop while the all the superbowl fans are preoccupied with the game!

DH is getting some things put up in the attic and helping me rearrange some things in the living room.  Our wood stove is supposed to be installed this week; so i need to pack up my curio cabinet and figure out new places for some of the kid's toys.

I'm also hoping for a nap....  Hurting for one even....
For some reason my husband's level of productivity is only amplifying my desire to sleep....

Mostly retired so Sundays are just the same as most other days - a bit quieter is all. I usually prefer the CFL (Canadian Football League) or American college football over "professional football," but as I'm from the west coast, it's gotta be the Seahawks. Go Hawks!

@Winchester  Suggest you place your printer in the middle of the frozen pool, and start a pool regarding date the printer will sink. (Great way to recover cost of new printer.)

I'm British, I have no idea what Super Bowl is.

I work on Sundays. It's usually one of the busiest days of my week because my students all have the day off from work so they want to take an English lesson. After I finish work I do a super market run and go and see the cats at my old address. I always visit them on Sunday evening with some cooked chicken as a treat. My neighbour feeds them and lets them sleep in her garage so I know where they will be.

It's the bowl you put a giant brownie sundae in, isn't it?
