Hello

I just happened to come upon this forum.  I have a 15 year old male cat who is strictly indoors and still has a lot of kitten in him still.  He's slowly losing his bottom teeth and my vet suggested to feed him wet food.

My question is I feed him fancy feast but not sure how much to give him per day.  He weighs about 11 pounds.

Thank you in advance!

I would go with 3 cans. If It gets too expensive try a grain free brand in larger cans.

I would say it depends on WHICH Fancy Feast you are feeding him.  The CLASSICS have more calories then some of the others.  Also, it really does depend on how active he is and what his metabolism is like (just like with humans).  I have a 9 lb boy, and a 13 lb boy.  The lighter one eats more calories than the bigger one.  So you just never know.

Maybe this article will help you:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/how-much-food-should-i-feed-my-cat
