Maias left eye is watering and it looks sort of oozy and she I'd closing it very often. I just noticed this. She was playing yesterday with Foley and he might have scratched her but I didnt see anything last night. WWhat could it be what can I do? I'm gonna take her to the vet tomorrow I hope she's not in pain.

She keeps touching her eye with her paw She licks her paw and passes it through the left side of her face

It sounds like she got something stuck in her eye, or it's been scratched (or both).  When it comes to eyes, home remedies are few.  With a human, we might give the eye a saline rinse, but cats are not so tolerant.  I'm sure the vet will have a solution for you.

How's she doing? Did you go to the vet?

I wanted to say that I have a kitty who often has feline herpes flare-ups, sort of like he gets a cold. I always know he is having a flare-up when his eyes get oozy/watery. The vet prescribes drops, and we are good to go.

Hope she is feeling better!

Hi she's doing great. When we woke up this morning her eye was fine so I decided not to take her to the vet. I will schedule an appointment for this upcoming week though. My boyfriend also told me to comment on the eye to the vet because he has seen that it waters more than the other and she gets stained. I always tell her she's my booger little girl but it might be something else I don't know. Thanks for asking how she's doing I really appreciate that.
