It is 18 degrees and snowing~~yes, again!

Another 16 inches so far. It will stop snowing Tuesday Morning!

And to make matters worse, a water pipe in the building broke! so no water! Actually there is a trickle of cold water...sigh..

Well, if I would rather be without power than without heat or electricity, especially with this cold, snowy weather!

Another snow storm predicted Thursday into Friday!   and  another one on Sunday!!!

Where is this snow going to go?  There is no place for it!

It's 75 here today. Send it on down. It will just melt before it hits the ground.

This morning it is around 29 F. We had a slight covering of snow overnight, but nothing to worry about. Like Karen, we are going back into the deep freeze this weekend; our local weatherweenies say we'll be lucky to get out of single digits during the day. At night, we'll be back in the minuses again. I guess the wind is really supposed to pick up, too; that won't be pretty. And snow showers and squalls pretty much all week this week.

-22C/-7F Today. I can't complain, this winter we only had a few days that were colder than that. Last winter was really harsh. We had piles of snow and it was consistently -30C/-22F and below. Brrrr.

71 degrees yesterday, 68 degrees today!
Just wait a few days though, then more 'normal' highs in the 30's and 40's, good 'ol Nebraska!

Too cold to go outside unless I have to. At least we went skiing the last couple of afternoons, so we're making the most of the snow when it's not too cold out. It's not so much the temperature, especially when it's nice and sunny, but the wind chill makes it unbearable. This winter has definitely been better than the last though. I don't want to go through another winter like that for at least 50 years!

Right now it's 43F and cloudy.  "Bitter cold" is heading this way, so low 20s and teens for the next few days.  That's central North Carolina.

-24C with a windchill of -34C (-11F/-29F), and not much better forecast for tomorrow. When I opened the back door of the car earlier this evening to bring the groceries in, the inside of the all the windows in the car immediately frosted over. The bolts on the inside of my front door have frost on them. Not going out tomorrow. Not even going to try to start 20+ year old car. Not even going out to bring in garbage cans and recycling bins. There's never a hot flash when you need one.
