i actually dont want to become a behaviorist but i would like learn about their behavior, also learn how to solve tough problems that the average person can't handle.

There are many books on the subject of Feline Behavior. You could google them or even look on Amazon. I have quite of few of my own books on the subject.

Hi, my advice is to get hands on experience, books are a good start but will only take you so far, especially at the beginning.  My suggestion is to look for volunteer opportunities at your local humane society, SPCA, or  other animal shelters.  You can google them in your area, or look them up by zip code at www.petfinder.com.  You will gain great experience in cat behavior, handling, even medical work.  That's how i started and not only do you learn a lot but its the most fun way to get experience.

What about joining a feral cat colony and actually living as a cat for a few weeks?

On second thought, there's the risk that you could get TNR-ed. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

If you could do it successfully, not only would you learn a great deal about cat behavior, but you could write a book about it and become rich and famous.

(Just remember to get one of your ears cropped first as a safeguard.)
