A few days ago I discovered the cats had fleas and tapeworms. Was off to the vet the following morning to get some Revolution and some dewormer. Both have been treated and are fine otherwise but they are drinking way more water than usual. I put water in Parker's food so he is rarely at the water dish, but I've seen him there a few times since treatment and Juno has been at the dish 3-4 times a day. I am just wondering if it's normal for them to drink excess amounts of water after being dewormed. Do they get dehydrated with tapeworms? How long should I expect them to be so thirsty? Thanks!

I would call the vet and ask if this is normal.  I've never noticed this reaction to Revolution in my kitties.

I don't think it was from the Revolution. I am assuming it's from the Drontal. I just wanted to be sure it was nothing to worry about. Haven't dealt with tapeworms in a few years and I can't remember if Parker drank so much the last time.
