Good morning!
 And Happy Friday!

Easy question this morning.

Describe your favorite coffee or tea mug. Was it given to you or did you buy it? Does your mug "fit" you at all?

I have two mugs that I love. One was given to me by my sister....white with colored little dots all over it. It says "Crazy Cat Lady" on it. It's nice and big and holds a good two cups of coffee. My other favorite was given to me by Rick and it's white. It simply says "bake" on one side in brown font. Another big mug so I can pour lots of coffee at one time. Rick said when he saw it, he had to get it for me. It's from King Arthur Flour.

My family knows me well!

What's your favorite mug like?

Haha, gotta love the crazy cat lady mugs! I haven't "earned" any yet.
In the meantime I'm using a soup bowl sized mug that I bought for myself.

The other mug in this picture, the little glass one was a gift from my aunt and intended to be used for flowering teas. I like this one a lot too, but it's not my top pick because it's fragile and small. I do love being able to see the buds flower though! It's just matcha in it there, so it's boring.

I have Fiestaware coffee mugs in nearly every color they make.  Love them but they are a bit too small.

My other fav is a set I got from Starbucks.  Dark brown, crisp white interior, with their mermaid logo on them.  They are regular mug sized but wider than average so they hold a lot.

I tend to use the Fiestaware for tea, the SB for coffee.  I also have a ton of Fiesta tea cups but they are still packed up from when we moved several years ago.

I've got two oversized mugs that actually came filled with ice cream. One has a cartoon cat on it. The other used to have a dog on it, but the picture wasn't very dishwasher-proof.

I forgot about my other mug. It says mommy needs sleep but she'll settle for coffee. My husband has the same one but it's blue and says daddy. My aunt bought them for us for Christmas the year Aimee was born. I love it, but it's big so I don't use it often right now. I can't have too much caffeine since I'm nursing and it makes my blood pressure go up.

For coffee I have a white Starbucks mug that I decorated with a porcelain pen, then baked in a 450 degree Fahrenheit oven for 20 minutes to "set" the ink. It has a cat and all the cat-related words I could think of - grimalkin, minou, kitty, etc

I have a separate mug for tea, a very simple beige / tan mug that is square at the bottom and round at the top, made by a potter. When I have the time I make tea in a small white tea pot that I preheat with boiling water.

From a Keurig catalog, I ordered a set of 4 mugs that had different animal prints.  They are tall and hold a good amount of coffee but not so much that the coffee gets cold.  I use one of these mugs daily and love it.  The one I'm using right now is the animal print of a zebra.

My favorite mug is from the Animal Rescue site. It is a 'crazy cat lady' on one side. The other side has "And I'm Proud of it". The background is small black and large blue paw prints!! It is a big mug and my favorite...

My favourite mug is one I made myself.

(I have a fine art degree in ceramics and I still do a bit of throwing when I get the chance)

It's made of a cream earthenware clay, glazed with a cream glaze on the inside and a dark green speckled glaze on the outside. It holds exactly a pint, which is how much tea or coffee I need to get me going in the morning.

The one I'm using now is from Marks and Spencer and had silly cats round it.

I have a few favorite mugs. :) I usually pick them up while I vacation. One is mauve with an nice flaring edge to it with a multicolor mosaic band. The other is very tall and has two dancing cats on it. :)

When my daughter was 14 I bought her a cup with unicorns and stuff and in side it says knowing you has brought magic to my life. She's 41 now. I still feel the same.
