So I have an issue, and I need help.. I was literally in the progress of moving to another state, like an hr from my current place, well got a pregnant cat, I decided to wait to move the cats till our last load, so we was with them the first night at the new place, little did I know, our (what we thought ) last day, as were finishing the place and loading our last load, someone goes into labor.. well, one kitty since about 1pm (1/29/15), and no more yet, I need to move her to our new house, do I wait? Why hasn't she had another?

If you can wait, so wait, please.   After it, you can have them during transport comfortably in a nice warm box comfortably padded with blankets, and hope for the best.

If you cant wait in any way, try this with transporting them in a box anyway.  A big carrier is perhaps even better.   Best is a dog cage, but I presume you dont have it.   If you dont have a touring car with lotsa of place in the behind, you can have a cage in the back site, felling one of fthem.

HOW is it going?  You did post several hours ago.

Good luck!

They can have pauses, hours or even days.   If she is ok, no visible problems  (as it sounds she is oK!), you be vigilant, but you can wait and see - no need to panic.

With any luck, the rest will come when their time arrives.

There is of course the possibility she has just one kitten - not common but not unique.

If you must away, the situation is as earlier: make it as comfortable and safe for her as you can. Let her nest with something which smells of you, and hope for the best.

Be sure she cant run away även if panicked.  If you can have her on leash during transport, do so.  Have at least a collar with your mobile cellular phone number on.

Its NOT optimal to travel during delivery, but if you must so you must...

Considering the drive, I'd stop by the vet and have them check her over. An x-ray can be done to see if there are any remaining kittens. Certainly don't want to get on the road and have her develop complications and not be able to get her to a vet.

Got her and baby to our destination safely, took her to the vet to check her out and no more babies .. turns out my lil momma can only produce one egg at a time, in result. She can only have one kitten at a time.. only my cat would be the odd one.. I got fertility probs so my cat does too.. lmao poor kitty. Thanks for the thoughts n concern guys!

Tx for the report!  Im happy and glad everything went OK!

A little peculiar she is one of the few who gets only one egg at a time - consistently.  But as you will spay her in several weeks, this will be mostly a theoretical curiosity.

Good luck!
