What else are you feeding?

As mwallace mentioned, chicken fillet alone does not a balanced diet make.

If you are starting out on raw, a few bits of chicken as treats is a good way to see how your cats will take to it.  It might help you evaluate how much of a transition you will need to make.

I think, that boiled meat is more safe. It can have some bacteries, and stuff on it, so heating up would kill them. You never know what were the shopkeepers doing with the meat before you bought it :p

Many of us feed grocery store meats without cooking them first.  There is also the risk of boiling off some nutrients, so the water should be given to the cat as well to make sure all nutrients got into the cat.

As others have said, it would be a great way to see how your kitties will take to raw, then we can help you with balancing the diet later.  Balancing is important so they don't leach nutrients such as calcium from their own bones, etc.

Cats can handle bacteria in their food much better than humans. The acid in the stomach kills most of potential contamination. And it takes shorter time for the food to pass through the cat than  a human, so there is less time for bacteria to affect the cat.

The best reason for me to feed my cat raw is that their system is adapted to raw meat, they can use the nutrients easier when feeding raw, and the immune system is under less stress. So- yes you can feed your cats raw chicken!
