Contacting companies for free samples

Wow , I decided to give this a shot and I was surprised at how generous these companies are .

Feline Caviar : Sent me a  4.5 lb bag for a free sample . Cats did not care for it but the birds love it .. 


The following companies all replied to my email and I am expecting samples .

Primal  ( freeze dried )

Sojos ( dehydrated )

Daves

Fussie Cat 

Red Barn 

I cannot buy any of these in my area  but I can get them for a good price on Chewy.com

Thanks for mentioning this! I'm gonna pop some emails off now that some companies will have love for Canadians.

I've only ever tried it once.  I emailed  Ziwipeak to ask for a small sample but never heard anything back.

Thanks , I will .  I am bound to  find something eventually that they like ..

Well , The Sojos was a  No Go ..  I mixed it up with water soaked it for awhile . I gave it to them last night before bed . It sat all night , they NEVER touched it .

I am waiting for more samples to come , hoping one of those will work ..

I have tried mixing foods  and it does not work . ..  I still have a few of the Sojos samples left I will try again  later .. 

My cats are very uncooperative  when it comes to wet food ..

I still think that dry meal makes them SUPER fussy with any wet, I have noticed it in the past when I gave both.

Yes they are ...
Yes I do understand the logic of the kibble issue but if you had to feed my cats you would understand why I have to give them at least one meal of kibble .  When they initially refuse something that is it , it  does not matter what I do it or how long it sits there they will not eat it .  I will NOT make my cats go hungry just to get them to eat a wet food  that they do not like ...

Awesome , I should be getting my samples from Primal any day now ..

I also contacted Newmans Own Organics  , they are are sending me 2 cans of the Turkey & Vegetable ..
