I lost Tiger T  to the highway this past weekend.  Even though she was aTNR she grew to trust me and would come up to the porch to be fed and petted.  I know that the life expectancies of the TNR's is always uncertain but that doesn't stop you from forming some kind of attachment to them.  I will always think of her prancing down the pathway to the cathouse and at least be grateful that it was quick.  Thank you for this site where I can at least leave a small memory of her.

I am so sorry for your loss.  My TNR kitty found a better home to hang out & I am happy she has things that I could not provide.  Even though they are feral they are still part  of the family.

Condolences on losing a dear friend
Earning her trust was a huge accomplishment and created a bond between the two of you that no one else would ever be able to enjoy. I am glad that in you, she found good food and even better companionship, a place to feel safe and the joy of feeling a loving touch and the knowledge that she had a name and was loved.

Godspeed, TigerT - you have gone to our Forever Home
Bless you, Riley1, for making the difference in the life of this cat

Thank you for your tribute to such a sweet little soul. My heart cries for the loss of such a precious one who wormed her way into your heart and earned a place in this world with your help. Always remember her prancing, she would not want you to remember her end, she will be greatly missed. She will always hold a special place in your heart, and will live there now forever, safe and warm. Please accept my condolences for your loss, the world mourns with you, but the heavens rejoice in gaining such a beautiful angel. Take care of yourself......RIP beautiful Tiger-T!

I'm so sorry for your loss, I understand the pain and heartache losing a feral friend. I have lost 3 since 2010 and I cry and hurt just as much as if they were my own inside cat. In fact I still have crying spells to this day.

RIP Tiger T

@keyes ....I am sorry for the loss of your Tiger T.  I am glad that she had you, though, because there is someone in this world that cared for her, and thinks of her.

  RIP, Tiger T,
and when you are off prancing in your new journey, then may you watch over keyes.

Well, I do believe it is true.  And I thank you, too, for the TNR work that you, and others do, so just know that it is appreciated, too.

I know how that hurts> I have rescued many strays, some of them little kittens, and found good homes for the adults and taken the little ones to the shelter, where they were immediately adopted. This shelter is very careful who they give their animals to. I had the two little ones for maybe a day, though I worked with them outside for a number of months, and I still cry over them, too..

Without you, Tiger-T might have not lived at all, you were her only friend, so think, yes, of meeting her again. And bless you for doing this kind work.
