Upon receipt of the same email offering the discount, I sent an email to Feline's Pride expressing my concern about their past problems. Specifically, I mentioned my concern over their use of cheap thin plastic containers. I did receive a very prompt response stating that they have gone back to their older style containers after securing a new supplier. I was also told that I could get a refund if I was dissatisfied with the product.

I am somewhat encouraged with their prompt and courteous response. It is my hope that they have learned from their past mistakes and are moving towards restoring their business to the way it once was.

I will continue to monitor the feedback concerning Feline's Pride, but it is likely they have permanently lost my business to Hare Today. The quality of the product, price, and superior customer service makes it an easy choice to select Hare Today.

Thanks for the update, Pridemark.

Yes, I agree.  I so liked Feline's Pride - and so hoped that they had resolved their issues.  I suppose I was being a bit naive.  Once I reached the tipping point and started with Hare Today and TC Feline I have been so happy with the results - not to mention how much Stella - and now Neil - like them it would take a lot for me to go back.

All the best,

- Rich

That's at least one positive sign. My cat loves the new food (RadCat) and doesn't seem to have any issues but the cost of RadCat is coming out to much more than FP was costing me. I hope FP makes a drastic turnaround but I'm not getting my hopes up.

This cat is costing me a ton of money! haha

Hhhmmm...I've been getting chicken and turkey from Hare-Today and using TC Feline.  My kitties love the food and I am spending less than I was with FP.  And the shipping is cheaper as well.  It is a bit more work on my part but not much - and well worth it.

Unfortunately for me, free time is very rare. If I had some time I'd go that route but I need something ready to eat!

How I wish I would have found this forum sooner. I ordered a couple weeks ago and it's been nothing but a bad experience. Like many of you, I have had the runaround and I never received what I ordered. The first shipment I accepted, mostly because of how badly I felt that the postal worker was gagging as he brought it to my porch, delivered several days too late and completely thawed and stinking. There was nothing I could do except drive it straight to the landfill where I paid their minimum fee of $15 to be able to drop it off. The company offered to "overnight" the next shipment, which I foolishly accepted. Five days later there was still no package. I had to leave on a business trip and so I told my post office to please return the box if it did come. I have no idea what this person is actually doing, but it certainly not selling high-quality raw cat food I have no idea what this person is actually doing, but it certainly not selling high-quality raw cat food. I can see in retrospect that every communication we had was written in such a way to cover the person in case I made a claim. Unbelievable! It is now in the hands of my credit card company, and I warn others to avoid Feline's Pride aka My Pets Pride.

I also have trouble finding safe good sources for raw diet. I am in Southern California.  I use no hormones Trader Joe frozen chicken.   Oma's Pride has  rabbit and other sources. All safe and

flash frozen. Which is suppose to kill 99% of pathogens.  You have to find a distributor in your area. Oma's Pride do not ship.  I used K-9 advantage once. (a distributor) for Oma's Pride. It arrived still frozen in good shape. But cost a grip in shipping.   You would think (being frozen) these companies should always use Fed Ex. or overnight shipping.

Try a raw pet food co-op or service. Here's a list: http://www.dogaware.com/diet/rawgroups.html

A good butcher shop can usually order specific products that you want. Or look into those farms that sell meat from their own pasture raised animals directly to the public. This foodie magazine lists such farms and other local resources for food: http://www.ediblecommunities.com/content/ See the list at the bottom for a local edition of the magazine. There's a couple CA areas listed. The print and digital edition of the magazine has the ads.

Wow what a thread of posts!  Wish I found this earlier and ordered from another company for now it is September 2015 and I am having the same problem with a promised order that I did not get and left several messages and send two e-mails which I have gotten no response from.  I suppose that I will receive my order three weeks down the road, instead of the fast delivery that was promised at the site of the sale.  So glad you guys took the time to post this.  Thanks!

There's very clearly something going on over there.  I had zero issues with the company for years, then some hiccups during the winter, which were understandable due to the insane weather we had.  Everything was fine again up until a month ago when it all went to heck.

After reading gbin's and Lesterktty's (and so many more!) of your experiences, I shouldn't be surprised by what happened next in my own experience.... I posted 3 1/2 weeks ago about my nightmare with the delivery of not just one but also a second package of completely thawed raw meat. After the delivery of the first box (which stunk so badly that my post man was gagging) I had to immediately take it to my local landfill ($15) as it was going to stink up the entire neighborhood if left outside my house. I contacted Suzy to let her know about the bad experience. I told her specifically that I did not want another shipment, but wanted a refund..... but she insisted that she would send it again and at her own expense and that it would be overnight this time. Ha ha HA. Of course that's not what happened. The second box also took too long (more reeking raw meat!) and I asked my post office to return it to her. Then I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Fast forward to today when I received a letter from my CC company that enclosed the "merchant response" to my dispute. It was lie after lie after lie about our business transaction. She completely misrepresented EVERYTHING, including accusing me of returning both shipments even though they had (PURPORTEDLY!) both been delivered within three days. NOT TRUE! My blood pressure is still high after reading her account. She also made it sound like I was some sort of nutcase who kept returning good merchandise and causing her expense! The tone of her letter was that she was a reputable company and that I was the only customer who ever had a problem! SMH. I have asked my credit card company to reopen the investigation… Which they told me is perfectly normal and that the matter should be resolved. I will let you all know. This woman should not be doing business!

Meant to quote whitezinfandel2... Sorry for the newbie error. I would sure like to hear what happened with your delivery & experience with Feline's Pride. I was going to try to make a Better Business Bureau complaint, but "Feline's Pride" is defunct and you cannot complain (there are already a plethora of complaints there, but it is no longer a viable business to complain about, I guess). So now I am going to try to complain to the BBB about "My Pet's Pride". I hate to think about other people being as uninformed as I was regarding a company that used to have an excellent reputation.

It is sad that they just had soo many problems for their track record was excellent at one time and their quality was superb from the reviews I read!  I heard that the main person that ran the company died in 2010 and someone took over.  It is not easy to run a company and possible the person that took over was extremely overwhelmed with everything to keep track of -- who knows!!!  So sorry the company went down.  I got the link from catinfo.org and tried to get on the site, but I had problems with my computer getting to certain links.  I finally got a message through and someone very nice called me and talked to me and I placed an order and was promised to have it the following Wednesday.  Wednesday came and went and I never got it and I called the company and left three messages and absolutely no return calls came.  You can even get through to anyone on that line.  So sorry the company has problems because we need healthy food like that for our cats?  That had at one time absolutely great reviews  Right now I am forced to make cat food from scratch!

Did everyone else get the email with about 20 typos saying they have a new and improved website with exciting new products? Also prices went up but not really because they now include the additional ice packs and foam stuff etc...

I am sorry so many have had such bad experiences with FP. I just wanted t say that Hare-Today is wonderful. I use the rabbit, chicken, turkey, duck and sometimes quail. I also buy their organs and chucks of rabbit and venison. I don't use the TC feline but use Alnutrin which I also order from HT.I have been ordering from HT for quite sometime and am always happy with everything. The customer service is great too. It really does not take a lot of time to put it all together. I work 6 days a week. If it was a lot of work I would not do it.  In general I spend about 3 hours every 2 1/2 months. I make a lot of food and freeze it.

Same website and it was actually in my spam, which is appropriate. Their website just looks different now and has different things.

Hello y'all!

Popping back in to see if there had been any good experiences with Feline's Pride, ahem, I mean My Pet's Pride.  Glad I did.  I was almost lulled into placing an order.  I so badly want them to get their act together.  My cats are loving Rad Cat and devour it.....to the tune of lots of money.  My son moved back in and brought his 22lb monster, too.  I just couldn't stand to watch him eat what my son was feeding him but dang, he eats about 12 oz a day!

Sorry to hear all the bad news and very recent bad news, at that.  Has anyone perused the new website?  There is the lovely story of Shelby, the founder, of course.  But another section discusses the company going to his brother, Dennis, and Dennis' wife, Suzy, upon his death.  It goes on to praise their daughter, Suzy (SuzyQ) and how she has done such a great job growing the company and doing most of the customer service and blah blah blahdy blah (paraphrasing, of course)  :)

It just makes me sad and mad.  I appreciate everyone adding their experience so that we can be informed consumers.  Y'all certainly saved me some headaches.  I hope everyone's sweet kitties are doing well and having great cat lives!

I hear you on the Radcat. My little one loves it so much but it's crazy expensive!
