New addition to the family, a Birman

Hello guys and gals!.

I'm introducion Seraphine, the "Apache", our new purebred Birman, and new Horatio's brother.

He's such a cutie!.

Great looking baby! My daughter house/cat sits for a couple who has a Birman. They are a wonderful breed.

An updating on my Birman kitty, 6 months old!.

Congratulations on the new family member! She is beautiful now but wait until her colors deepen, then she will be an utterly gorgeous cat. My sealpoint Birman, Capucchino, is now 16 years old and here she is.

I have had her since she was 7 months old and her colors were much lighter then. Her face and ears are almost black now although her other points are just dark brown. Maybe she should be called chocolate point.

Seraph is absolutely gorgeous! Cappucchino is a beautiful, grand old lady too! I love Birmans!

Indeed, as they get older the pointed gets darker and they become some lookers as your cat is.

I think Birmans are the most beautiful. With coloring of the  Siamese without the crossed eyes so many of them have, and the bodies and fur of the Persian without the mooshed-in faces and without the hair that tangles and mats - what more could you ask for?

I have some updates for you......it turns out that my cat's name has changed from Seraph to 'President' and that's because my kid nicknamed kitty, 'President Meow', then everybody started to call him 'President' and little by little the nickname stayed.

The secondly, here's an update on President and here it is:






He's now ten months old.

My gosh, he is one gorgeous cat. I think he's even prettier as an (almost) adult than he was in January. How much does he weigh, or is that all fur?

Kitty is around 8-9 pounds perhaps.

And The President owns every ounce!! Wow love his attitude.

Very handsome and yes, he does have a very stately air.
