There should be no discharge or oozing. That would indicate an infection. If there is, I would call a vet right away. A surgical infection is dangerous.

Also, it looks kind of pink and does not look right. I would call your vet regardless of whether it's discharging and describe what you see. You don't want to wait around of there's an infection.

Also, take your kittens temperature. If you kitty has a fever, that's another reason to get her into the vet right away here since it's likely that there's an infection. Here's some info on normal cat temperature:

Keep us posted.

Even if your kitties temp is normal, I would call since it does not look right.

If you don't want to stress her out, bring that picture to the vet, they could tell by that. It will be red since it has only been a few days, there may be a 'lump' underneath too from the internal stitches. Is she acting OK? Feel the incision to see if it feels hot to the touch. Is she on an antibiotic, or did she receive an antibiotic injection? It doesn't look bad to me for a 2 day old incision, but only your vet would know for sure, I would definitely call if you have any concerns. All the luck!

My kitty was recently spayed.  The vet put some kind of something over the incision, hence the orangey-red stuff around the incision outward. It took my cat about 2-3 days for that stuff to either be licked off by my cat or wear off on its own.  I actually don't think it looks all that bad.  I'd keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, take a pic and take it to the vet.
