Shes much smaller than her siblings whom both are the same size. They were all born premature with the fifth being still in fetal form. Had a heartbeat but with no fur,eye sockets or even a mouth opening died soon after birth. The one before him was the runt i speak of. She can walk quit well, very loud and vocal actualy i named her lil goose cause she scream like one. But she seems behind in growth stages. Slowly going through the stages of progress and learning and growing the others already have gone through. Today was the first day she actually looked around and could see me. She usually just trys to find me by voice(walks out of cage stumbly) she gaind a tiny bit of weight since last week of me starting bottle feeding because she looked so frail. But shes only 2.38oz i hear the average birth weight is more than that and shes much bigger than what they were at birth.the momma cat is a miniture or teacup. Less than 10lbs . is it possiable she might of got those genes or just stunted? Is it possiable for her to be at a diffrent growth stage? I really need someone to tell me to stoo freaking. Im so worried for her. I also cant seem to get her to take the bottle right. She wont suckle. I have to drip it to her front lips and she will activally lick it up and ocastionally try to bite the nipple(which is supe squshy) and cant put any pressure. Ik the whole keep warm and such im just so worried about her weight.

If she is bad at suckling, but doing OK otherwise so to speak, it will be easier if you use a syringe.  This is the trick for the bad sucklers.

You know how to do it in the proper way?

I will write more in a hour.

Good luck!

OK, so I continue.   Its very possible she has got her moms tiny posture.  Which is good, this way you have a decently hope her being miniature isnt not because of internal faults, and the risk of a sudden collapse somewhere along the way to adult, is much less than usually with the miniature kittens....

OK, reading through your both threads, I have a suspicion  she is bad at suckling.  So probably she doesnt get much from mom either.   And this is probably why she gains so slowly.

This means, YOU must give her even more actively than hitherto.  Use a syringe without needle, or even a dropper if you dont have a syringe.  But best and safest with a syringe, it gives you a better control.  Use one of 3 ml.   Be careful so you dont give too quickly, so she manages to swallow.   Burp afterwards, to be on the safe side.    But you say  she is good at swallowing, so it should go OK without problems.

The rule of thumb, as Catwoman mentioned, is 8 ml / ounce a day. = 8ml/30 grammes a day.   She is 2,38 ounces today, it gives  about 20 ml a day or slightly less.  Say 6 feedings, and 3 ml or so per feeding.

Its about a tea spoon per feeding, 6 times a day, If I count correctly.

She gets hopefully from mom too, but how much we dont know.  We know she dont gets enough.   and she must get food now at any price.  Otherwise the risk is big she will collapse just becuse she is undernourished too long...   Which is why runts who die usually perish.  Not because they are runts, but because they dont get enough for a too long a time.

Good luck!

Aha! Just realized something cats can have two litters one birth. The odds of survival slim. But from what i hear my innocent looking momma cat i found was the only female in the whole area and very much got some...so the kittens in presentably good health. She acts a week behind and from what i hear its very posiable for her to actually be week younger. She eating from mom and im feeding from bottle. So she gets atleat a teapoon or more every few hours.. My only issue is i havnt seen any elimination. Yea momma cats here. But shesvin and out not really a stay at there side kind..u.u so i guess i just gotta belive shes doing it.

Nay, its the reverse.  They can have two different litters, and two different deliveries, several weeks apart.  And with a little luck, both go OK.

But it can happen kittens in the same litter can have beeing started at somewhat different occasion during the heat period.  often mom delivers them perhaps one or two days apart, but sometimes she delivers them in the same occasion - and yes, the last started becomes a premature.

My guess is the practically stillborne was deformed, as you described it.   Had never any chance at all.
