Hi,
My 8 month old male has been tilting his head as long as I've known him (about 2 months). His balance is fine. I believe he is slightly clumsy from kitten hood.
He also winks quite a bit (at least once every two days). I don't know what to make of it. He scratches behind his ears a lot, like not inside but behind. However, I don't know if this is significant because he scratches under his chin, his cheeks, and licks everywhere else excessively. We're thinking it's an allergy. He's taking steroids right now for it.
Could it be Vestibular Disease? He's been seen by 2 different vets already who said that he is healthy. He is eating, drinking, playing, walking fine. I would like to take him to the vet, but my other cat has been sick lately and I'm already wayyyyy over what I can realistically afford. I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid?
If you have any experience with Vestibular Disease, can you please share? Like, how was it diagnosed, what were the treatments, how much it cost, etc.
