Im wondering what parts of animals are red meat and which are white. Red meaning high in taurine and white meaning low in taurine.

This is the list of animals that i need to know what pieces are what.

Rabbit

Duck

Chicken

Guinea Pig

Rat

Mouse

Turkey

Also are things like cow, goat, sheep etc all red meat or do they have white meat?

sorry, new to raw.

Im thinking about starting raw but doing lots of research first.

Im sure ill ask alot more questions in the replys.

Most every animal has light and dark/red and white meat.
Here is an article that talks about red/white meat.
White meat is generally lower in fat than red/dark meat (i.e., chicken breast versus chicken thigh).
Some animals have a lower fat content than other animals; rabbit is quite low in calories/fat, duck high. Note that cats require a higher percentage of fat in their diet than humans.
I am for a variety of proteins, not so much white/red meat. Also, I mix up red/white meat in the same meal, and usually from different animals. Today Ritz is eating pork and beef and bone from quail.

Technically a true red meat just means the meat is red when raw and does not turn white with cooking.

Beef ( think of steak) does not turn white when cooked. Poultry typically is both dark meat and white meat ( thighs and breast) I honestly do not know about rats and mice. I used to run restaurants but we never served those things and I still have not given them to my cats.
