My hair was dyed light natural blonde and I got a dark blonde color kit to put my hair back to it's natural color. Well it turned half of my hair LAVENDER!! YIKES! I called Loreal and now I'm off to the store to buy 3 different kits and try to fix it. It's a pretty color of lavender but it just doesn't fit this 45 year old!

If it doesn't work this time, definitely go to a professional. You may have to sign a waiver because they generally won't colour hair that you've coloured yourself.

Or you could cut it off short and grow it out?

Hey people pay good money to get hair that color!

I just shelled out 80 bucks last week to get my hair streaked blue, and just spent 4 hours today getting it touched up because it faded too quickly.

Oh H&%% NO! Besides... I'm alone and my arms are too short to do a self photo.

Unless...... I can try to just get some of the hair. I'm ready to start fixing it now.

When I was young(er) I dyed my hair on my own. Once I got green hair...
Nowadays I never ever dye my own hair, my hairdresser does such a wonderful job.

Ok ok... but these are just a tiny bit of my hair and hair only! My arms are just too darn short to do a self pic. It looks much more lavender in person

Just wanted to mention... I can't afford to have my hair done professionally since I don't have a job. I've always had good luck before but I guess this time my hair picked up too much toner. Even with the fix I will have only spent $32 and I'm getting $12 of it back.

I love having crazy hair colours. I had bright orange once. I liked my green hair. Pink bangs were cute. Now I'm more tame in my old age (soon to be 28) I'm gteting highlights on Saturday.

I feel your pain! I used to bleach my hair and then decided to go red. My hair turned an amazing shade of apricot that I needed to strip out of it.

Ok I'm finished and it turned out good! It's a little darker then I wanted but usually it lightens a bit the first few times I wash it, so I think it will be fine. Plus I'm getting highlights in it as soon as I give it a little rest.

It was kind of funny. You can't tell as well in the picture but it was the most perfect shade of lavender! MIght have been ok if I was 15 but I'm 45 and a grandmother!
