I'm not sure. The vet never put cones on mine they just told me to make sure my Kittys leave the incision alone. I would ask your vet how long your kitty should wear the cone.

If your kitten is trying to get at the incision, like mine was - my vet told me that the incision should be healed/any scabs should have fallen off before the cone comes off. My kitten had to wear hers somewhere between 10 days and 2 weeks.
