Sunday, Jan. 25 is the big day for our 8 day cruise on the Carnival Freedom. Now it's starting to become more real. Getting anxious. Really need to get away, it's been rough with the death of my sister-in-law and my bout with colon cancer last June. This is a much needed vacation. We will also celebrate my b/d (which is tomorrow - Jan. 20) - and an advance celebration of our wedding anniversary which will be April 25.

Just going to miss the kitties for this trip, but I know they'll be in good hands with our neighbor Fran. She loves them and they love her.

I hope you have a great time and
to you. My birthday is the 21st. I've always said that January is God's favorite month. He gave us so many wonderful people in it!

I vowed to pack "less" but of course that isn't happening. We leave Sunday, but we always pack early. All I need to do on Saturday is pack the toiletries, medication, jewelry, etc. And we're good to go

Kitties of course are crawling all over the suitcases. They know that something is up. Already thinking about how much we'll miss them. Of course Tippy has her "tuxedo" on so we could sneak her in the suitcase! Little Floppy Eared Angel is doing good and recuperating from her surgery. Her permanent floppy ear looks adorable. Tony is still my precious good hearted little boy.

Will post again before Sunday.

Don't forget - let's to a TCS cruise someday. Wouldn't that be fun? Pam??????

Hope you have a really great time. I have always heard take 1/2 the clothes and 2 times the money and you will be okay. :lol3:

have you ever been on the Carnival Dream?
Haven't been on the Dream but we've been on several Carnival ships and always had a fantastic time. Their ships are all pretty much the same - floor plan, colors vary from ship to ship, but everything else is the same. Carnival is casual, which we love, caters to all ages, and a fun ship. If you're planning on a Carnival cruise you'll have a great time. We were on the Freedom in January and the entertainment had vastly improved over the last few cruises. Our one complaint prior to this trip was that the shows weren't quite as good as in the past, but they've come a long way. The ship's entertainment staff and shows were first class, so should be the same on the Dream.
