So I adopted two kittens last year and the boy had visible ringworm lesions while the girl did not.  After 2 months of medication, lyme dips, heavy duty cleaning and strict decontamination... they were cured and stayed that way for months.  Now the girl is showing some strange lesions that look like ringworm.. the vet isn't sure.  I'm waiting for culture results and I'm about to go crazy.  What I went through last time (all by myself) was pure insanity.  I can't believe that this may be happening again.  I guess I want some reassurance.  I think I need a drink!

Gosh, ringworm does suck, I'm sorry you *may be* going through that again!

My girl, Kali, also had ringworm twice now and both times I treated her with Malaseb shampoo. I swear by Malaseb shampoo. Your vet should sell it or you can buy it online. Depending on where the lesions are you may not have to giver her a "full" bath.

The second time my cat, Kali had ringworm, it was only on one of her ears. I just wet her ear with a damp washcloth, massaged some of the shampoo on it and wiped/rinsed it all away, careful not to get water inside of her ear. I did that 3 times a week and after about 2 weeks or so, the hair grew back. I gave her a full bath after the 2 week period, just to be sure!
