Last night I had a dream that I was still in bed and my cat Minnie came to me. The room was  dark but I could still see her. She was purring and rubbing against me and I was petting and cuddling her, then Sally came into the room and it was the same...petting, cuddling and kissing both cats. It felt so real that I was thinking that it was too real to be just a dream.

I'm sure you had a visitation. I think it happens because our sweet babies know we are hurting too bad to let go and they are trying to comfort us and tell us everything is all right. Believe. I also think it happens when our minds are more open, like when we are relaxed and going to sleep, or are asleep. I'm so happy for you and although it doesn't change what has happened it is meant to comfort you and try to heal that hole in your broken heart. Bless you for sharing and I wish you peace.

Not a dream at all.  My little cat told me before he died that the other side is not that far away.  He said he would be right there next to me even though I would probably not know it.  How lucky you are that you were aware of her presence.  I have heard that other animals can see spirits more readily than humans.  Keep an eye on your other cat for clues!

Thing is, I don't have another cat right now. I lost them both from cancer. Sally last July and Minnie two weeks ago. When I get another two, I'll keep an eye out for clues.

I don't have another cat either and wish I had one to watch for Rizzo.  Have not had any signs or dreams.  Waiting ,not so patiently, for a sign of some sort. Like all cats, my Rizzo moved silently thru the house but now it seems so unbelievably quiet & empty.
