Hey guys,
We had our cat neutered a week ago and a few days after he started to act kind of unsual towards me. I can say that I am his favorite human and he often does small love bites to my hand which I don't mind... But recently, he's been biting my hand quite hard while kneading and if I let him be, he'd start jerking his back as if he's about to mate with me!! Fortunately, he's a smart cat and he stops when I sternly say no. But his "sexual behavior" towards me is weirding me out a lot!
At first I thought I was just being paranoid but he has done it to me for a couple of times now. It's never happened before and It really started after he got neutered. What's is happening to my cat?

Their hormones go kind of haywire after neutering, especially if they're neutered right around the time of sexual maturity. Give it a month or so for everything to settle down. If he still does it after that, talk to the vet, it could be a hormonal imbalance. Or it could just be a thing he does---humping isn't always sexual. But since he just started it sounds hormonal to me.

I agree, neutering brings on a flood of hormones that are all released at once. It may take weeks to get them through his system. I feel sorry for the little guy, he doesn't know what to do and is following instinct! It will get better, just keep telling him no, or gently remove yourself from his presence. All the luck!
