Hi all,
We have a 5 year old female, Leela. About a week and a half ago she started walking very oddly. Her hind legs went stiff, and her tail curled under them. She was almost walking in circles. It stopped in less than a minute, so we weren't super concerned until it happened the next evening. Same exact thing. Shortly after she vomited a few pine needles. So we thought that may have been the problem. We did some research and found similar symptoms relating to seizures or blood clots. We decided to take her to an Emergency vet after another fit of this stiff walking. They sent us home to collect video of it since they didnt see it and she was acting herself with good vitals. We were super scared of it being a possible clot because she has a heart murmur.
Leela has experienced these short fits a couple more times over the week. She never seems to be in pain or out of it. Maybe a little confused.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! We do have a video and plan to go back to the vet!
Here is the best video we have been able to get, she's sitting still but you can kind of see what happens to her backside.
Thanks!
