'ey guys.
Terra the Cat is one of those picky kitties who not only rejects every treat I bring her, but SCORNS it. I HAVE, however, found two flavors and one smell she LOVES: Gourmet cheese, and Red-Hot sauce. Red-Hot is tricky, but Cheese is easier. Problem is, she will have nothing to do with anything marked "Cat." Nope, only actual cheese that smells like Nicholas Sarkozy's private apartment meets the standards of Her Royal Imperial Kittyness.
I spoke with her vet this afternoon, and was told that cheese is about as good for cats as it is for people; not for the lactose intolerant, and in moderation. Cheese does not affect Terra's G.I. tract in any way I can discern, and she LOOOOOVES it. My question for you is, are there any kitty treats out there that smell JUST LIKE aromatic cheese, like parmesan (Terra's favorite), or am I just going to have to purchase my cat treats in the gourmet cheese section of my local supermarket?
