Umm, my cat had starting meowing a lot, loudly and knowing that she was expecting I realized that maybe it was time. I arranged a box for her, aligned with soft cloth and I also noticed that she had some watery mucus coming out of the end and she was breathing fast. She was restless at first and then suddenly became very exhausted to the extent she couldn't move. Well two and a half hours later I still found her in the box totally normal..but still tired.
Why isn't she giving birth? And another thing is that there aren't any vets where I live. I'm in Zanzibar Island, Tanzania. Please, any help would be appreciated.

Look at the other thread posted almost simultaneously.  These advices there are almost the same as for you.

PS You write you dont have any vet nearby.  So we cant think about any cesarean... Or?   Is there anyone else who can help? Another, more experienced cat owner? Dog owner? Even rabbit owner?  If you dont have vets, so you dont have spaying / neutering, no?  So almost all female cats are giving birth at least once a year, and thus - there must be quite a few who  ARE experienced with helping at birth...   Try to pick up a mom of several children.  Moms are used to manage difficult and chaotic situations...

Please continue to report and asking further questions!

  Good luck!
