1st off I have 2 male cats (George and Rockey) a female Calico cat named Sofeia and a female AKC registered Boston terrier dog named Rossy. They all get along with each other just fine. George is just a plain black cat. Rockey is a tabby type cat. Sofeia is the youngest of the 3 cats about 2 years old I think.
The problem is with Sofeia. We had a flea problem that we took care of. George, Rockey and Rossy weathered the flea problem just fine. Sofeia not so. I can feel flea scabs (I am assuming the scabs are from flea bites) all over her skin. She won't eat or drink. She just lays in the bathroom like a fluffy door mat. Before the flea problem she was very lively, playing with the cat toys and a gluten for attention. Sofeia would take advantage of any opportunity to dart into my work shop to be with me when the door is open. Because I work on radios there is lots of things the pets can get into there that can hurt them. So the pets aren't allowed in the work shop. She doesn't come when I shake the food dish when I fill it. She is like a living lump on a log in the bathroom. I don't know what to do. I live on SSDI and I can't afford to take her to a veterinarian. I don't want to lose her but if she doesn't start eating and drinking soon..... Well I don't have to finish that line.
