Why feed Friskies! There are so many good brands out their including ( Blue Buffalo,Tiki cat, Wellness, Wilderness, Gran Bonta, Healthy Gourmet, Instinct and Gourmet Delights. I have been feeding me cat named Jack  Gran Bonta,Iams and Gourmet Delights and he loves it. Other brands like Friskies, Meow mix, Whiskas and Fancy Feast are bad quality and have dangerous ingredients in them.

Friskies canned food LOAF type is fine for the money when feeding multiple cats canned food, and I have had NO problem with bad canned food EVEr with this brand.  I do not use anything but loaf because all the fancy things have wheat gluten in them but the loaf cans do not.  I do not feed Friskies dry food.  Blue Buffalo had a lot of problems last year (check out consumer reports).

I would rate Iams on the same level Friskies, actually, for dry and wet. Iams may be a tiny bit better but whenever I see a dry food that has corn, I drop it like a rock. It's obviously not worth my time or money and it's not worth feeding it to my cats. Even the newer touted "Iams Naturals" has corn in it, and it's just as low protein (or lower) as Whiskas, Friskies, and Fancy Feast dry.

I feed Friskies wet all the time without any issue, and among others, it's more affordable and not leaps and bounds of a difference. If you look at the ingredients of Iams wet, it also contains vaguely listed meat products and byproducts (as well as a couple of specifically listed ones) and rice flour, and then the slew of supplements. Looks more or less the same to me, and probably costs more.

I've actually seen Gourmet Delights in passing when looking at foods online, and while that food looks good, I thought to myself that they're very limited by only offering fish flavoured or fish based foods. Many of cat owners choose not to feed fishy canned foods consistently because of the phosphorus levels and the rising mercury levels in marine life.

I would say Friskies wet is way better - higher protein, higher moisture, lower carb - than feeding a cheaper dry diet anyway. In the end, it's also up to what the cat will eat. You can spend all the money you want on all the cans of Wellness you want, but it doesn't mean your cat(s) will eat them.
