Oh wow Amy those pics are so pretty!! I would love to drive by your house and see it like that lol!!!

Finally, I found something, to keep the cats away from the tree: VINEGAR! I was using it to clean something and they all started making faces and ran away. I put some into a spray bottle and sprayed a perimeter, around the tree and lightly misted the tree itself. No one has been into the tree, since 11:00 a.m. I'm going to buy a gallon jug of vinegar and keep a spray bottle handy.

Just before everyone gets here, Christmas Day, I'll spray some Febreeze to kill the vinegar smell.

I got about half way through this thread last night and my computer shut down on me so I had to finish the rest of it today. I loved looking at all the pics of the trees, ornaments, and decorations!

Catsplay, that is a beautiful yard display you have!!! We never decorate the outside of our house...I would like to, but hubby says it is too much work and would take alot of extra electricity. He doesn't get into the Christmas spirit too much. I want to put up a small tree this year, but not sure where to put it...will have to reorganize some things to make space. We usually put it in front of the big picture window, but we now have a small curio cabinet there. It could be moved though, if I figure out where to move it to! It will be loads of fun keeping Amber from tearing it apart!

I'll have to decorate my house before I can get pics of it. Perhaps today I'll lug some stuff out of the closet.

Cindy, didn't you mention earlier in this thread that you have kitty ornaments? I just loved the ones Kitten Crazy showed us and I'd love to see some of yours!

I think that this is a better picture of our tree. I'm going to try to get some good closeups of the ornaments. I bought one for Buddy, yesterday.

Fantastical pictures everyone! Man I wish I had a digital camera. I've put up my tree and already have had two furry decorations that added themselves to the tree. It's odd that they look very much like the resident cats.

And then it's time for the cats to play. At least that's what happenned to us last year.

Everyone's decorations look so nice! I've been so busy with work and finishing up projects for my grad class, I haven't gotten anything decorated yet. I plan to get a tree this weekend. We know a guy who owns a tree farm, but haven't seen him lately. It might be an artificial one this year. I've heard the real ones around here are ridiculously expensive. I love to decorate for Christmas, but my apartment is kind of small, so I don't have as much space to put stuff up as I used to.

Hallmark has a card, with a picture of a cat on it. The card is captioned "Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, your ornaments are history!"

This is such a great card, that I bought it for my best friend. Katey has 7 dogs and two cats - she's going to love it!

Just finished putting up the tree. My picture is not very clear because I used a movie camera.
