Sicy, it's a cute little tree! I'm glad you got one. I hate to see anyone go without a Christmas tree!

I love seeing everyone's holiday decorations!

Tomorrow we're going out to buy a live potted christmas tree that we'll then plant in the yard. I think this year we're just getting a smaller one (maybe 3-4 feet) since we had so many problems with Pepper climbing in last year's big one. I just can't have the holidays without a real tree though so at least this one will be smaller and sturdy in it's planter - or so I'm hoping!

Sicy, that's a cute tree. Two years ago, Bill and I lived in a place too tiny for a tree. I bought a pre-decorated 18" tree and put it on the dining table. THAT was a pathetic tree!

I put ours up, today and have been fighting off marauding felines, ever since. The orange spray works for a few minutes but, doesn't last long enough. Even my normally dignified and well-behaved Opie was creeping up on the tree.

As soon as I get batteries for my good digital, I'll post pix. I hope that Walgreen's has them on sale tomorrow.

Right here! :)
I love seeing your decorations! We bought our tree a couple of days ago, we dont decorate the tree untill the day before Christmas (wich is dec. 23, since we celebrate our Christmas on the 24th, and we have 13 days of Christmas, so Christmas is untill Jan. 6th.)
But I sure will send you some pics when the times comes!

Sicy, you don't have a "sad sad tree", you have a cute tree!
From what I can see in the picture, it looks like it's fiber-optic too. Those trees are awesome!

We just have a small three foot tree that sits on a table. It has lights and we decorate it with traditional ornaments. One other thing I like to decorate the tree with is real candy canes which are still wrapped in plastic.

We've never had any problems with cats attacking our little tree or playing with the ornaments.
In fact, as I type, Snowball is sleeping peacefully only three or four feet away from the tree.

I just love seeing the pictures of everyone's decorations, they're all so pretty!

I brought out the old, small tree, hoping to decoy the cats from the big one. No such luck - this morning, not only were there ornaments all over the living room, they had managed to get the top off the box containing Bill's new shirt. Good thing, he wasn't up yet. I may have to duct tape it closed!

Here's one of the pathetic little tree. The cats have ignored this one, so far.

That little tree isn't pathetic at all. I think it's adorable. If I do put one up, it'll be something like that one.

For a $4.99 tree, it isn't bad. For about $10 more, you can get a lighted one.

Ok here are some more of my decorations. I put a few more up today.

Notice the Christmas kitty in the foreground! I got the card table out to wrap while watching a movie and guess who has to display herself on it? Yep! Princess Peaches! She's blocking my big Santa sitting on his chair! I guess I'll have to get that another time!

this is a fun thread! My husband LOVES decorating for Christmas, I mean LOVES it! He starts planning MONTHs ahead, and our house is 'famous' as a landmark in the neighborhood each year. I haven't taken pics this year yet, but here are a few pics from a couple of years ago!

This year we are actually not doing so much outside, because we just had an addition put on our house and he got tied up and too busy with that to focus on the lights a lot. But I will take some pics of this year's stuff and post them soon.
