Hi,

My kitten, almost 3 months old, is limping and it seems that her paw is hurt.

She was playing outside when she quietly stood after my mother who was washing. Not knowing it was behind her, when she turned, she accidently step on its paw.
It immediately ran and sat on the sofa. She started limping. In the evening, she was running fine but it again started limping again.

I took her to vet, he said she will be fine. Although i m very worried if she is fine or not. What i have deduced is that her nails are not going back and this
is where she is hurt but this can be my guess.

Any help what to do?

Your help required.

Thanks.

If your kitten will let you, you could try putting ice on her sore paw for a few minutes, no more. Keep an eye out, but trust your vet for the time being. Cats are pretty resilient and I've (unfortunately) stepped on their feet too, even rather hard, but they were always ok. If it swells badly or is still causing Her pain in a few days, or something like this, take her back. But I'm guessing she'll be just fine.

Will the cat let you do anything to the area??

Suppose you could examine it closer, for your own peace of mind.

If she is walking,seems okay.

Have to keep an eye out,if she is still having problems after few/several days.

If you can get close enough to look at it better, might answer your own questions.

But if she is guarding, not cooperating, may have to wait awhile.
