Hello fellow cat lovers, i have 3 cats 2 males and 1 female. Princess who is 7 romeo who is 6 and rebel who is the baby at 6 months old. My big cat romeo had to go vets and the vet said he is depressed as he pulls out hiss own fur so told us to buy feliway for him.
We have a house move coming up in the next few months.
So i would like to know if any other cat owners have tryed using this.
Many thanks in advance.

I have used Feliway for Cindy, and I think it might have helped her. She was very shy and scared when she came to live with us, hiding under the bed. I plugged some in, and it seemed to help her relax some.  Also when she had to go to the vet.  Like I said, they seemed to help, but probably never know for sure.

I used it when I moved.  My cat took one sniff at it, turned around, and did a wee all over the plug in!!

Lots of other people have had good results, though!

The vet recomended Feliway for Bonnie as she was terrified when we first got her

We plug it in a few days before anything major happens (so a few days before bonfire night for example and also before Christmas)

It seems to calm her down

We also got some 'happy pills' from the vet (Zylkene) which were prescribed when we got Clyde (She was terrified of him and now they are best mates)

We used Feliway diffusers for our last cat whenever he was left with a cat sitter looking after him, there were fireworks, or we had overnight guests. I plugged them in about a week in advance, and they did seem to help.

They also have Feliway collars so the cat can have it with them. I've had wonderful luck with those 'calming' treats I found on Amazon too, they work really well in stressful situations like vet visits (or moving). Good luck!

I used the plug In feliway when I brought in a stray (also called princess) into my house with my other cat (Eva),11 year old cat, who generally is not fond of other cats. The introductions started in September (after a period of separation), and although they tend to ignore each other now, there has been no fighting or hissing. I can't be sure that this was because of the Feliway, however when I was feeding princess as a stray outside Eva did smack her on the head and hiss at her, so Feliway may have prevented any more of this behavior.

Good luck

Does Feliway work? My answer: All I can say is Thank God!, I am one of the lucky pet parents of an adopted abandoned 5 month old kitten who was "freaking out" for 4 straight days after I took him home. I ordered the product expedited shipping, but 'fedex' screwed up again and delivered it to the wrong address. A gracious neighbor decided to return the package to me three days after it arrived. The results were amazing fast. Positive behavior improvement immediately after I plugged it in. Since he was not adapting at all after 4 days, I had been seriously considering returning "Tommy Cat" within the 7 day trial period. Therefore, I am very pleased not to have to give up on this innocent, partially wild creature who had already been traumatized enough in it's short life.
