mservant mservant Haha! He is absolutely insane! His sister is still a tiny bit ahead of him (she is REALLY fast), and has lots of teeth so I rather him attack my toes than her. He's "gentle" compared to her crazy butt!

Way cute,  but do you think he's getting his own back for his sis' squishing him the past couple of weeks?
Massive grin on my face looking at all your photos:  what a pair of heart steelers they are!

You're probably right! Hahaha! I am soooooo looking forward to the naughty kitten behavior that is coming up. My absolute favorite part!

I doubt that will last too long!  Those razor teeth and shredder claws are evil on little kittens.
Mouse used to start on my feet, then work up to my head if he didn't get a resonse.   I spent a lot of time hiding under the covers the first few weeks after I adopted him.
He was nearly 4 months so it was quite scary!
He's very good now and lets me sleep but it took a lot of effort.   It won't take long for little Fonzie to shred your toes.

OH MY GOSH. My girl Philly is 4 months old and I can't let her sleep in my room. She is like an energizer bunny at night and runs full speed around my bedroom. How could something so small be SO LOUD!? That is hilarious that you were hiding under the covers, I didn't even think of that!

Wonderful update and adorable pics!!

I think I mentioned in one of my recent posts about his being behind a week or so despite his being just days early.

Their development takes them behind just a bit more, you will notice that his sister's behavior this week will be his next week basically.

I think he is a tough little survivor, and YOU saved his life!

Yep! You mentioned it! So I'm not worried at all, he's so my favorite. I guess checking him out to make sure he's ok has made me super attached. :)

@fatedone  , Philly is very sweet but yes, I'm sure she does a good line in night time hell raising.
I wonder what tricks she'll teach your newbies once they are big enough to start playing with her...

Oh yes, I definitely hid under the covers with young Mouse, he was silent and deadly when he was smaller.  He is still silent but is a bit better behaved (most of the time) and not quite so deadly now.   He never used his claws but oh boy did he bite!  I had covers tucked in at the bottom and down the sides of the bed and I'd pull the top edge tight over my head with my fingers protected under the covers while I did it.  I had to ignore his behaviour because any response at all was play to him and he would never have got the message I didn't like what he was doing.  Most things I don't mind but my face being chewed on is definitely not OK!

Where does mom nest with her kittens?  Is it in your room that they race about on your bed?

Just checking in and can't get over how wonderful he looks!

This should be the story of the month. (if we had a story of the month)

@fatedone  , Fonzie and family would get my vote.
Heart warming, so much information for anyone else who has to work through similar issues with one of their kittens,  and a cuteness overload to top it all off.

I'm sorry ya'll! I had a really busy (FUN) few days here. We took his jacket off yesterday and he's so round and happy! And it looks like his coat is returning to black (I guess it was indeed a fever coat! Whoa!). So, we have an appointment this week (I didn't let the vet know that Fonzie is still alive, I hope he is in total shock)! Fonzie is just going to strut in there and say "hey, other people had faith in me! and look, here I am!". He's getting so fast, and we can forget a need for the nest ugh. Lol! They rarely visit it and think my bed is the best thing since sliced bread!

I can't wait for feedback from your vet visit!   Way to go Fonzie.

How wonderful if Philly can survive Piper AND Fonzie pouncing and stalking her and being general pests and teaches them both how to be energizer bunnies like her.

Does your husband still think Fonzie looks like a lycan or is he more complimentary now?

How stinkin cute, I love that!!

If your vet is a good one he will look at how great he is doing despite his former grim outlook.

I've done it before, vet swore it wasn't going to happen, the odds are slim to none that the cat can be saved, and down the road I astonished him with the cat he thought was a goner/hopeless case.

That is what rescuers do! We MAKE it happen, if there is any chance in hell to save a cat or a kitten's life, we will go to ridiculous lengths to make it happen, I know I do!

Perhaps it might even be inspirational to him for future FCK kittens!

I can picture Fonzie zipping around now :)

Keep an eye on his breathing rate of course, there is no insurance just yet that it won't tend to grow improper but chances are he is done with it now, and will continue to grow rounded rather than flat. He is probably done.

I am new to the site and just finished reading this thread and my heart is bursting with happiness for this baby boy!!!!

I have had cats and kittens all my life; all were strays and rescues. I love them and will do anything for them.

Thanks so much for this information. It always does my heart good to see cat people helping each other.

@fatedone   When is your vet appointment?  I hope your little guys are fit and in good form for their vet-surgery visit and you have a nice update for us soon.

We go on Friday! I'm so excited! I think we have a normal kitten now, his chest is still round, he went poop in the litter box, he runs, he purrs again! I am just so proud! I'm bringing his little jacket to the vet with us to show what saved his life. Catwoman, you should patent that, I bet it could save a lot of kittens and the owners heartache. I came an made this thread with a lump in my throat think he wouldn't make it. Owe it all to you guys!
