We got rid of cable in our house about a year ago. We use a Roku box to watch things online. The only show I care to keep up with is Chopped; we buy the season on Amazon and watch them streaming with no commercials.

We still have cable (for now anyway). I don't watch reality TV. I don't watch much tv at all anymore, but do have it on for background while I'm reading in bed. Other than a very few shows that I do watch during the week, I think I pretty much keep it on METV (the old classic shows) most of the time. I can tell you what I watch....

Monday - Sleepy Hollow

Tuesday - Supernatural

Thursday - Vampire Diaries

Sunday - X-Files (on Chiller)

I do watch Cook's Country and America's Test Kitchen on the CREATE channel sometimes.

And other than the nightly local and national  (ABC) news, that's honestly pretty much it at this point. About once a month, I go to On Demand to catch up with The Big Bang Theory.

i love the home improvement shows. i also have a roku and stream my programming. i watch a lot of different shows, many from other countries. my favorite reality tv shows would be:  holmes on homes, rehab addict, salvage dawgs -- i watch those on my computer through the dare hub dot com, streaming for free.

I used to watch the Hoarder shows but I don't think they are making new ones of either one.  I have seen the episodes multiple times so I don't watch them anymore.  I sometimes watch the cooking contests.  I watch the last 15 minutes of Dance Moms to see the finished dances.  I don't care for all the mommie drama in the rest of the show.

I don't watch reality shows at all, they are not real and if they were I would feel like I were a peeping Jill. If it wasn't for cable I would not watch TV at all. I watch CNN for national news, a local channel for local news and weather. I do watch the Weather channel sometimes, also Nat'l Geographic, PBS (yes, Im a fan of Downton Abby and Mr Selfridge), TCM and BBC America and Encore for movies. Where I live the Internet is so slow I cannot stream anything without constant interuptions of  "wait reloading" while the little clock is going around in circles, I have Netflix and watch foreign movies there and all the movies I was not allowed to see when I was young (now I wonder what all the fuss was about). Now that I am retired I also have the time to read all the books I never had the time to read, including those really long ones like Dr. Zhivago and all the classics. I am never bored, retirement is great but for the aches and pains that are starting to creep up but nothing major.

I don't watch reality TV. I watched the very first season of Survivor way, way back, and have some seasons of Hoarders downloaded since the one time a few of us were talking about the show being an inspiration to clean our homes (and that's the only time I put them on, when I'm cleaning - I never actively watch them, just glance at the screen once in a while to see a home far worse than mine).

I think Asian variety shows are pretty entertaining, but I only subscribe to one Japanese one's New Year 6 hour long tradition.

I love documentaries. Nature and crime documentaries are my favourites, all the better if the nature ones talk about fossils, dinosaurs, extinct species, and marine and deep sea creatures. Anything narrated by David Attenborough or Bill Curtis is usually a win in my books.

I'm not really into reality shows, but I find myself watching two....The Little Couple and Sister Wives.

I also watch cooking shows like Master Chef and Hell's Kitchen and Barefoot Contessa. But I don't consider these to be reality TV.

IMHO all reality TV shows should be banned!  The shear number of them is ridiculous!

I don't have a TV, but I sometimes watch stuff on Youtube.

I'm a bit of a neat freak and I like shows like Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, How Clean Is Your House?, Extreme Hoarders and Extreme Cheapskates.

I don't know, it's just good to know there are people out there that are crazier than I am.

I used to like Nicole Curtis, but she isn't doing a good job of handling her success. And I got really tired of hearing her gush over LeBron.

We also got rid of cable and use a Roku to watch TV.  We don't watch nearly as much as we used to.  I loved the "Crasher" shows in the DIY network; especially Bath Crashers.  I also liked American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Duck Dynasty and John & Kate + 8 (back in the beginning of that show).  Those are all I can think of off the top of my head.

Actually, I don't even have my TV hooked up, but I watch mostly old TV Shows and the DVD movies I have. The reality TV shows I watch are just what I watch on YouTube.
